Orientation Series: *New/Updated

The original Disability Coordinator Orientation Series has been restructured into TWO different Orientation Series. The first one is the Applicant File Review Orientation Series which is comprised of two parts and four 60-minute sessions. The target audience for this series is primarily Health and Wellness Managers but center Qualified Health Professionals and Disability Coordinators would benefit as well. The second series is the Disability Coordinator Orientation Series and includes 3-parts comprised of 4 individual webinars.

​The individual webinars can be attended in ANY order and routine attendance is strongly encouraged as content is updated on a regular basis. Resources and tools available to assist Health and Wellness Directors/File Review Coordinators in meeting applicant file review-related requirements will be shared.

Applicant File Review Orientation Series

The Applicant File Review Orientation Series is comprised of two parts and four 60-minute sessions. The target audience for this series is primarily Health and Wellness Managers but center Qualified Health Professionals and Disability Coordinators would benefit as well.​
Disability Coordinator Orientation Series

The Disability Coordinator Orientation Series ​includes 3-parts comprised of 4 individual webinars.
  • Part 1a: Disability Accommodation​ Policy: The Disability Accommodation Policy session reviews the primary policy components of the disability accommodation requirements to include the responsibility Job Corps has to communicate effectively with people with disabilities.
  • Part 1b: Disability Accommodation​ Process: The Disability Accommodation Process session reviews each component of the disability accommodation process to include the referral process.
  • Part 2: Disability Data an​d Accommodation Plan Entry/Notes: The Disability Data an​d Accommodation Plan Entry/Notes​ session reviews the CIS data-related components of the Disability Program and discusses related quality control strategies.
  • ​Part 3: Gener​al Disability and Other Disability Program Requirements: The​ General Disability and Other Disability Program Requirements ​ses​sion focuses primarily on the remaining disability-related PRH requirements such Disability Program Introduction, Disability Program Resources/Partnerships, Readily Achievable Barrier Removal, and Disability-Related Staff Training. Resources and tools available to assist Disability Coordinators in meeting disability-related requirements will also be shared.
